ECHO VOLUME XLV Editor Amy Swiggum Senior Class of 1987 DEDICATION 2 SENIORS 7 UNDERCLASSMEN 21 FACULTY 29 ORGANIZATIONS 37 ACTIVITIES 51 ATHLETICS 61 In Memory Of Levi C. Chapiewsky, a 75 year resident of Bangor, has made endless contributions to the Bangor community and high school. For these reasons, the yearbook staff would like to dedicate the 1987 Echo in memory of him. Mr. Levi Chapiewsky graduated from Bangor High School in 1929, and since then has sponsored the Bangor City Baseball team, boys attending Badger Boys State, and many other organizations. The work he has done for Bangor will never be forgotten. Bangor Received A “Dutch Treat” Hans Scheepers, An exchange student from Zwolle, The Netherlands, spent the first semester of his visiting year at B.H.S. Although he was quite shy at first, Hans quickly adjusted to Bangor's life style and gained many good friends. During his stay in Bangor, Hans lived with the John Hansen family. He arrived Aug. 14 and on Jan. 10 left for La Crosse where he attended Logan High School. While Hans attended B.H.S., he participated in many extra curricular activities such as: drama club, student council, jazz choir, music council, and pep band. In his classes, Hans achieved near perfect grades while adding an interesting perspective to the classroom environment. Sneak A Peek ...
