The Bangor Chapter has really put a lot ot hard work into this years projects. The Banquet was a success with many of the members receiv- ing recognition for their accomplishments. A dif- ferent note to end the banquet, the three senior girls, Janet Langrehr, Cis Clements and Laurie Arndt, presented gag gift to the seniors. And Doug Servais and mike Pfaff, were both re- cipients of the State Farmer Degree. Much thanks is given to Mr. Tucker for all of his hard work and dedi- cation. For all the years of his enthusiasm en- couraged many to strive to the top in all activities. 9

They had FHA Week” which consisted of selling carna- tions for Valentine's Day, holding a Red and White Day, and hosting the “Teenage Pregnan- cy Awareness Conference. The Teenage Pregnancy Conference was our most productive project. Many young women came in and told the school about how they felt about becoming pregnant in High School. After that general session, every class went to two additional sessions to learn about different teenage problems. 8

The Bangor forensics team got back on its feet this year with more participants than in the last several years. There were a couple of “firsts” for the team this year. For the first time Bangor had play-acting groups and it was the first time that they sent as many people to state as they did.
