THE BETTER!! The Seniors had asked many other units to partici- pate in the parade this year. Not only to have it last long- er but to have the commu- nity feel they were a part of the Homecoming. Mr. Jones was asked to pull the court members through the parade, with Ray Horstman serving as the Parade Mar- shall. The clowns were a special addition from three senior girls. As the game drew near, the excitement mounted. With four overtimes and the score ending up to be 18- 12 the Cardinals came out victorious. 25

THE CRAZIER . 1. What grade did you say you were in? 2. Acting your age once again 3. Is that Joanie or is it her Grandma? 4 A better view ot Norman 5. You can dress them up. but you can't take them anywhere. 6 Who taught you Darrin? 7 And they claim to be our teachers! 8 Invasion of the Pillow People! 9 We always knew that the Indians were dummies! The Football Homecoming for the 1983-84 year was a huge success at B.H.S. Many students participated in the activities which were going on during the week, such as, Baby-Kid, Grub, and 50's day. Fun night, also went well with many students, faculty, and parents taking part in the fun and ended with every- one crowding around the Bon-fire with the Cheerleaders and Band to raise their spirits. The an- nouncement was finally made of who the King and Queen were: Queen Dawn Langrehr and King Paul Freit. 24

Dwyer. 1982 King B Hass The 1983 Football Homecoming Dance was held on the following Satur- day night after the game against the Wonewoc Indians. With the gym deco- rated in shades of red. the dance start- ed at 8:00 p.m. with D.J.'s Terry An- tony. Jeff Wolf, and Forry Hansen. The court entered the gym to the song The Delta. Last year's King and Queen, Brian Hass and Cindy Dwyer crowned the 1983 King and Queen: Paul Freit and Dawn Langrehr. The Royalty Court then proceeded to dance to the theme song “Total Eclipse of the Heart. 26
