The 1981 Winter Sports Homecoming was a tremendous success. The basketball team started the evening off by defeating New Lisbon, and a large audience was on hand after the game to see coronation at K 30. The court was decided a bit differently this year, with one representative chosen from each of the following: Girl’s Basketball, Boy’s Basketball. Wrestling, and the Freshman. Sophomore. Junior and Senior Classes.

THE MANY FACETS OF SPORTS This year's Winter Homecoming activities cen- tered around all of the Winter Sports. Homecom- ing week was highlighted by pyramid basketball at the Pep Rally. King Ed Davis and Queen Lauri Langrehr reigned throughout the week at B.H.S. The sophomore class won first place, and the senior class received second in the hall decorat- ing contest. I. FALL AWARDS NIGHT Last year there were three separate banquets held honoring athletes in fall, winter and spring sports. The fall awards night was to honor volleyball and football players, was held in November. The meal was potluck. and each family brought a dish to pass. The idea of honoring the athletes after the season, instead of wait- ing until spring was appreciated by many. 1. Mike Wolf—2nd team AH Conference 2. John Schaller—AN Conference Honorable Mention 3.
