The Bangor Junior High track team swept the KVA meet this year, winning five firsts and placing in four other events, to take the vic- tory with 37 112 points. Their first places were in the 100 yd. dash, the 50 yd. dash, 100 yd. hurdles, the pole vault and the shot put. BANGOR 'S TRACK MEN, who took a second place in the league, behind the Paw Paw Redskins, include QTOP ROW, l. to r.J: Lee Reinhardt, Brian Lewis, Bob Cipri, Hollis Set- tles, Pete Pifer. QSECOND ROWJI Coach Breed, Dick Emmett, Bill Bennett, Dick Davids, Jack Weiss, Fred Zantello. The Vikings set a Regional track record this year, running the medley relay in 2:35. At the annual State Track Meet, we received a 3rd in the medley and a 6th in the broad jump. In the KVA League Meet, Bangor took a second with 40 points, while the defending ti- tle -holders, Paw Paw, won their 8th straight track crown with a total of 60 points.
