i 1 E Class of 7987 This years Seniors entered Bandys in August of 7983 full of excitement and hopes of success. They watched the worlds events take place as they began to get into the high school routine. In Octoben they recognized the death of 24 7 Marines in Beirut, Mike Rozier of Nebraska became the recipient of the 7983 Heisman Award and Georgetown was the 7984 NCAA basketball champion. On the homefront, the Varsity football team suffered an unsuccessful season with a record of 7-9. Class of 7988 The Freshmen of the Class of 7988 entered Bandys, as the Democratic Party had just nominated Geraldine Ferraro to represent them as a Vice-President candidate. Mary Lou Retton was winning American hearts and four medals in gymnastics in the 7984 Olympic Games. 7984 also saw Bandys football program improve with Rookie Coach Toni Paroli at the helm. The Varsity girls' basketball was ranked in the top 25 in the Nation and the softball team won the N. C. A-AA State Championship.
