Honors English English is the basic class for ev- ery year of high school. Honors English gives an accelerated study in grammar and literature. AP English AP English helped to build creative and intuitive character in the stu- dents. This course was designed to be similar to a college English class. The students enrolled in this class hadthe opportunity to take the AP English Exam at the end of the year for college credit. This class also helped to pre- pare seniors for college courses through reading experiences in litera- ture. Grammar was an essential part, too, since knowledge of it is necessary in the writing of papers and essays. ir T' 1, ...l
