Algebra Bandys offered four classes of Alge- bra, ranging from Algebra I-A and Al- gebra I-B to Algebra I and Algebra II. Mrs. Teague, Mrs. Sherry Drum, Mr. Hilderbran and Mr. Bill Brown taught these courses which prepared students for the extensive math study in col- lege. Consumer and General Math In Consumer Math, Mr. Young teaches consumer related skills such as automobile and home financing, taxation, commis- sions, discounts, buying and selling. All of these are designed to help the students cope with mathematics of life's situations. The General Math classes, under the in- struction of Mr. Young and Mr. Brown, were designed to teach the basic math- ematical skills. Geometry Geometry was one of the more rigorous math courses offered at Bandys. Under the guidance of Mrs. Sherry Drum, students learned about an- gles, triangles, constructions, and many other aspects of the subject. This class provided back- ground for other maths in college.
