Summer Achievements Two Bandys Students represented our school well this summer. Jay Knox was one of two North Carolina students to receive a Ja- pan-U.S. Senate scholarship to spend the sum- mer in Japan. Beth Laney was one of fifteen players chosen from across North and South Carolina to represent the two states on the AAU Junior Olympics Basketball Team in New Mexico.
