Special Honors Last year four juniors were chosen to participate in Boys and Girls State. Barbara Lineberger and Kirti Modi re- ceived the honor of attending Girls State held on the campus of UNC- Greensboro. Bradley Harris and David Shubert were selected to attend Boys State held on the campus of Wake For- est. The week provided them with in- sights into our government. Bradley Harris and David Shubert were also chosen to compete for the Morehead Scholarship. This is an all-expense paid scholarship to UNC at Chapel Hill. Unfortunately, neither of them ad- vanced past the county level. Top right: David Shubert and Bradley Harris were the Morehead Nominees.
