Awards, Scholarships And Honors Academics Awards Day was held on Thurs- day, May 31, 1979. On this day, the seniors were honored by marching into the gymnasium. The student body was addressed by several honor graduates. Also recognized were the seniors receiv- ing scholarships. Also, on this day many people were honored and given awards. Awards were presented to out- standing students. As this day served to honor the Class of ’79 before the entire stu- dent body, it will stand as a memorable moment in their lives.
