Jju6hshecf 6y the Senior Gtass of J3ancfys 3 fjyh School GatacuScL, orth Garoh'na 3§a FOREWORD As we pass through the final days of our high school years, we have collected many cherished mem- ories. Through our four years at Bandys High, we the seniors, have many moments that we shall always remember. We, the annual staff, have tried to record in this yearbook some of the most exciting events of this past year at Bandys. But as we continue through the years, we shall always be . . . GATHERING MEMORIES. With pride we present this annual to you, the students of Bandys High. 7. )orcf (Jon en s ro n Administration..................13 Classes........................17 Features.......................49 editors Activities.....................67 Athletics ....................91 In this 1966 TROJAN we've tried to gather some of the most treasured moments of this fleeting year. Advertisements................119 The times have been both joyous and tiring. We hope that in the years to come you can look back and relive this year of memories. This annual can only record one year of memories, but through our lives, we will always be------Gathering Memories. When there's work to be done, our busy editors don't have time to pose for the camera. Jal n ie in9 7ir emones Homecoming begins our year of memories. The prom leaves moments to always remember. CLASS POEM 1966 We've walked along these paths many times before, Yet it's different now; we've reached the other shore. Life’s raft has carried us swiftly and straight, And now we are passing through the high school gate. The doors behind us will soon be closed and locked, But the road ahead now lies clear and unblocked. We have studied hard and learned our lessons well, But it wasn't all work, as we like to tell. This isn't the place where our memories end. It’s really the place where they all begin. Bandys, you have given us laughter and tears, And things to remember in the on-coming years. As we travel onward, tearless, and brave, These precious memories are the things we'll save. Jacque Hill 7 wa A cfocun i ie Buzz groups in Room 5 make economics easier. 8 In Room 7 bookkeeping gives students much trouble. Everybody struggles through typing in Room 8. The Class of 1966 The Class of 1966 is now ready to leave, From this old world we wonder what we're to receive. We must be ready to take our place; We must brace ourselves for the problems we now face. As we look back, we see many friends dear to our hearts; Oh, how dreadfully trying it is for us to part. We have witnessed many bright carefree days; We shall recall these treasured memories always. Now as the time draws near, we find that we are afraid; We realize the importance of friends we have made. For twelve long years we have grumbled: We've made complaints, But we know full well that we are far from being saints. Dear Bandys, we shall always be so proud of your name; When we say Bandys, we shall never say it in shame. After we leave, we may travel far, But we shall not forget where you are and what you are. Now with a tear in our eye. To thee, dear Bandys, we say good-bye. Danny Christenbury Dedicated to the Senior Class It is a hard day's work to complete an annual. -Torl%bIt.
