JJut)Iished by the Senior (dass hcincfys yliyh School ( 'atacuSa, orth (Carolina Jatherincj as we memories of the past fooh to the future The age in which we live offers a privilege for service to those who are well prepared. We, who are graduating from school, find ourselves in the midst of these vast opportunities. May we think of the years spent at Bandys High School as the initial period in our preparation for the opportunities that lie before us. The time has come for us to part. As we leave these portals of Bandys High School, we leave behind the cherished memories that have endeared us to our Alma Mater. As we move on to blaze new trails, may we stop and cherish once again these memories. As we pause, may we think fondly of these activities and organizations that helped us to establish them. This yearbook we offer to the 1964 graduating class of Bandys High School. Many years from now we may want to relive these days spent at our dear Alma Mater. After superlative pictures were made, everyone enjoyed refreshments. For years we have been together And shared a common life; A life of learning, a life of growing, A life of joy, and one of strife. But always in our living, As the patterns of our lives we wove, We enjoyed the blessing of friendship And were surrounded by the warmth of love. From childhood on to maturity Our trials were never met alone; We had the security of companionship, The comfort of faces long well-known. But now the future bids us To begin separate lives of our own; To depart from the familiar And the sheltering refuge of our home. Our destinations are uncertain, But with courage we go forward To meet life and all that it brings To meet obstacles that must be towered. May we always worthy prove, In all that we dream or achieve, Of the confidence and the hope Of parents and teachers that we leave. Forever onward with hope in our hearts To futures promising and near. Farewell Bandys! We shall always cherish All you have given us—all that is dear. And later, when long years have passed, When age creeps on and life loses lightness, We shall always remember with fondness The carefree days of the past and their brightness.
