!7 ie 960 TROJAN PUBLISHED BY THE SENIORS OF BANDYS HIGH SCHOOL Catawba, North Carolina oreword We live our lives but once. We stand helpless to alter the passage of time or to bring back the years that have gone—save in memory. All of us wish to preserve the mem- ories of the school days spent at Bandys High. This school year will soon pass on to infinity as have the other years that have gone before, and we, the students, will be left with but memories. Thus we, the senior class present the 1960 Trojan as the manifestation of memories of school days post, and the embodiment of the hope of things to come Each new day brings with it a new challenge to leorn more as we enter the halls of learn- ing. The faculty must check each grade sheet corefully at the end of the 6 weeks grading period. 4 Contents Introduction Administrotion Classes Activities Features Athletics Advertising 1-16 17-20 21-50 51-68 69-82 83-104 105-136 Sigmon cons 2 more points, os Bondys is on its woy to beot Rock Springs and win the Cotawba County Bos- ketboll Tournament Championship by the score of 51-45 Mitchell Sigmon and Archie McRee, Co-captains of the footboll team, crown Miss Sandra Sain as our 1959 Homecoming Queen.
