Some of the highlights in Home-Ec and FHA were the cook- ing labs, which are favorites of many, the fun trip to San An- tonio where they went to the zoo, the SAS Shoe Company, and the Tower for dinner. Three students in FHA got the chance to go to the state meeting which was also in San Antonio. All these things add up to one of the best reasons for joining a club, new experiences! 80 - FHA FHA: Fun and Skills Combined Committee members such as those pictured at right are an im- portant part of any organization. It is no different in FHA. When officers had different projects go- ing, or wanted displays put up or needed help with concession stands, the FHA newspaper, etc. This is where they became a big help. Being a committee member also prepared them to be an of- ficer next year. Special recognition and thanks to Mary Stofa, a hard- working vice-president in FHA.
