They received training for receptionist duties, bookkeeping jobs and secretarial work. Throughout the year, the OEA girls learned to operate such machines as the calculator, transcriber, and mimeograph. With this knowledge six girls placed in area competition and one advanced to state. 72 - Vocational Office Education Malissa Methvin placed 6th in Record Management ll at the Area meet qualifying her to advance to State competition.
