I .1' qlfi gr junior Varsity Cheerleaders Sh Sparkle and ine Iunior Varsity Cheerleaders - Randy McHaney, Diana Garcia, Ienny Persyn, and Lisa Schwarz spent the 1983-84 cheering season relaying their sparkle to the people they came in contact with. From the IV Foot- ball team to the instructors of the summer camp they attended, the girls contributed their best job. With sponsor Liz Vakey, the girls attended an ICF Summer Camp at Southwestern University in Georgetown. The girls receiv- ed ten ribbons of excellence. They did a great job, but didn't receive the most coveted ICF Sparkle and Shine ribbon. They worked diligently during the week, and were awarded a rib- bon entitled IO0 Percent which was greatly deserved. Throughout this year these four girls have purely proven they are capable of that coveted award. Their sparkling per- sonalities and shining per- award, the ,, Sophomore Cheerleaders Randy N V , Mcl-Ianey and Diana Garcia lead I their class in competition during a .pep rally. Z. Throughout the last two years I have learned a lot about dif- ferent things, and without the six of ya'll and Mrs. Vakey I don't think I would have survived it. Run-throughs, pep rallies, camp, and games were just a few things your involvement made possible. The student body can't imagine the work you put in, I realize it, and more especially I thank you for it. Thanks, not just for your hard Work but for putting up with me and sticking to one of the hardest jobs at BHS. Mrs. Vakey, a special thanks for your continued support throughout these last two years.
