The End of an Era The Class of '84 left BHS with many keepsakes, friends and achievements. Senior English teacher Baird Neville stated, The Class of '84 is a great class . . . a class with style, grace, wit, intelligence, drive and heart. The Class of '84 will be remembered with fondness for many, many years. The seniors were known for their endless en- thusiasm in all school events. The Class of '84 was a group of winners who always fought until the bit- ter end. They had an enormous amount of school spirit which hopefully influenced the future students of BHS. Highlights of this senior year included Homecoming, the last football game, the Ir.-Sr. Prom, the senior trip and Slave Day. Slave Day was a day when the underclassmen took revenge on the seniors and tormented them for all of their cruelties and wrong-doings throughout the year. Bac- calaureate and Graduation were undoubtedly the most awaited occurrences in any senior's life. They marked the beginning of a whole new challenge when the Seniors of '84 stepped out into the world to begin their adult life. As the seniors ended their high school career, they sensed the stimulation of graduation and the sadness of leaving behind their associates with whom they held a bond of friendship that would never be forgotten.
