Among these privileges and responsibilities are electing class of- ficers, receiving a locker for the first time, and taking elective courses which are interesting rather than required. Sixth grade is the time when you leave the world of elementary behind and also marks the turning point where responsibilities are shouldered and life takes on new meaning.
