The Bancroft Bulldogs completed one of their most successful seasons in recent history. The Bulldogs held a 7-1 season losing only to class C Homer. Hard work and team spirit paid off in many ways. Included was a Homecoming victory, and state wide recognition. The Bulldogs were rated sixth in the state by the Lincoln Journal, and seventh by the Omaha World Herald. The biggest thrill came on October 22nd, when the Bulldogs invaded Winnebago, and walked away with the Logan Valley Conference Championship. It was a great day for the team, the school, and all the fans that stuck with the team through some dry years. “Logan Valley Champs” SENIOR FOOTBALL STARS.
