Seniors Sneak to Lake Okoboji On Friday, May 1, the seniors and their sponsors left in the early morning for Lake Okoboji at Spencer, Iowa. Breakfast was eaten in LeMars, Iowa. Once at the lakes, they rode the giant roller coaster, the bumper cars and other rides. Some of them spent a lot of time in the fun house, too. After lunch, most of the seniors went on the daylight excursion tour around the lake. Airplane rides were next on the seniors’ program. The plane took them for a lovely view of the lake and the surrounding country. They had a buffet supper at Murel's Log Villa after the plane rides. That night there was a moonlight dance cruise on the lake. On the way home, they had a late lunch at Edith and Joe's in Sioux City. The seniors had a fun-filled exciting day - one which they will always remember.
