This club was among the year's firsts at BAHS. Sporadic pep had always been around the school. However, with the birth of this organization, pep bacame a cons- tant at rallies and games. School Spirit was shown through cheer and performance. Members were: Kim Lloyd, Kim Hamilton, La Jean Bradsher, Meyoshi Smith, Val Waters, Michella Troy, Christina Cyphers, Ellen Butler, Tjana McCants, Sandy Stalnaker, Clarissa San Nicholas, Jenny Tri, Mary Ann Ellerbee, Latisha Hambrick, Darla Hendricks, Devon Green, Lori Hendricks, Amber Javery, Dawn Cavenaugh, Lori Johnson, Melissa Anderson, Karen Gregory, Tamala Richardson, Rosalind Wiggins, Philisa Tigner, Stephanie Hasberry, Deidre Gottsch, Nicole Funmaker, Leslie King, and Elain Butler. Bamberg's Cheering Leaders B...A...R...O...N...Swasthecheerof one of Bramberg's finest cheerleading squads in re- cent years. The spirited group-Kristina Somer- ville, Janet Fike, Kaye Oelze, Becky Ridge, Stacey Toliver, and sponsor Mrs. McKinney returned from the Kaiserlautern Cheerleader Camp in the fall with a first day spirit stick and many ribbons of honor. As their title suggests, the participants were cheer . . . leaders. Pep sessions were organized, humorous skits were performed, the school was led in rooting on the Barons, and they were instrumen- tal in forming a new club-Pep! 9-ffdcil H Wfwwf- W 5 3
