Staff members see the pages set up for the press After several days of hard work the Crier staff takes the paper to Roebuck's to be printed. Often hours are spent at the print- ers pasting up the first proof. Then copy reading, corrections, and last minute in- sertions, back to the printers it goes and on Friday it is placed on the stands for the stu- dent body.

All week long the activities office is a busy place with students rush- ing about getting cop-y in on time, typing, doing lay-outs, proof reading and all of the oth- er jobs connected with publish- ing a newspaper. It is -supported by the Student Activities Fee and ad- vertisements from local business establishments. The Crier serves as one of the best means of keep- ing students informed about themselves and the college.
