This is true also of an educational system. City College is extremely lucky to have the guidance of three capable leaders, who are large- ly responsible for her position on a lofty pinna- cle of the world of education. Dr. Chester H. Katenkamp has been a forward- looking Principal during his three years at City College. Prof. Henry T. Yost, Dr. Katenkamp's right bower, is responsible for City's system of individ- ualized subject schedules, and Prof. Carl E. W. Schmehl, Vice-Principal, is in charge of plant and discipline. Professor Yost has served as liaison officer, adjusting the differences between the student body and faculty, with a square deal for every- one The smoothness with which our schedules operate IS a tribute to the abilitv of Professor Yost Professor Schmehl though the holder of a most unpopular Job is one of the best liked members of the faculty His winning personality has made Little Carl friend of the student body CARL E W SCHMEHL Vice Principal -L B.S..
