CLASS PROPHECY Next our lourney carried us across the Mediterranean Sea As we looked down the Flfth Fleet of the Unated States Navy was on maneuver On the deck of the largest shrp of the fleet stood the offtcer IH charge As he called to has men we thought has volce sounded fammar We dropped our shup closer to the sea for a better look We were then very much surprlsed as to the tdentuty of the officer rn command It was PETER MUTSCHEL KNAUS Sputntck then zoomed back unto space agaln and we traveled on across the At lantlc Ocean Our fuel was runnlng low and when we approached the Northern shores of Canada we declded to land and refuel We chose to land an a small open area tn the middle of a large forest ranger statuon so we decnded to explore the s a tuon ln the control tower was seated e head ranger of the Eastern Dlvlslon of e Canadlan Forest Rangers Assoctatton thought we would talk with htm whlle w wanted for the fuel trucks to arrlve As e ranger rose to greet us we recogmzed htm as our old frtend EUGENE PRETEZUS We then asked the ranger If he would take us on a tour throughout the vast forest He klndly consented When he was relleved from has duties we all cltmbed unto has leep and we were off on a large excurslon tour As we approached a small clearlng In the forest we notrced a small beautiful hospital We asked the ranger If he would show us around He agreed and we went In for a look around and found seated behund the desk of the head nurs BETTY RABER We then went Into the cuty of Quebec for our last night before we left for our further tourney tn Sputntck No I3 We had our dlnner an a large restaurant and then decided to have a nrght on the town There was one parttcular butldlng whlch caught our eye It was a large arena where sports events were held We decrded to take In the evening events We went In and were seated In the front row The evenung events consisted of a tumblung exhubltlon and a gurls basketball game both being compet atlve events As the teams approached the floor from thetr dresslng rooms the coach for the Quebec Giants partuculary caught our eye We remembered her as one of the most active members of the Physlcal Educatlon class of the class of 58 She was MARY REGULA The next day we boarded our spaceshap agam and were off for further adventures In outer space nearing the moon lt was dark by this time and we heard the bark Ing of dogs As we drew closer we could see a grant spotllght shlnnang Into the sky We then notlced that there were a great caravan of hunters searching the trees Leading the caravan of hunters ap peared a large dark frgure with a beau tlful coon dog by has slde We recognized the dog as Duke and the hunter as ROBERT SCHLABACH From the moon we continued on our exciting and fasclnatlng lourney through the realms of outer space We now found ourselves nearung the planet of Venus w neared Venus we saw a new school whlch had lust been erected for the children We entered and walked down the long corrlder to the door marked prrncupal We opened the door and seated behind the desk we saw a dtstlngulshed looklng person She Invited us to come tn and sand she would take us on a tour of the school As she rose from her desk we reallzed It was a graduate of Baltic Hugh EDNA SCHLEGEL Next we were crrcllng near the United States and as we neared the beauttful state of Calrfornla we saw a large ranch stretched across the country stde As we drew closer we noticed all the large bulld lngs and mllllons of small specks on the ground Now as tt came clearer Into vlew the small specks turned out to be sheep When the owner of the ranch came out among the sheep we recognlzed htm as BRUCE STAUFFER We decided to land our spaceshtp and take a tour of the state of Callfornla w landed near the clty of San Francisco As we landed great crowds of people assem bled to look at our queer looking machme We were met by the president of the Chamber of Commerce who offered to take us on a tour of San Francisco H took us to the Cow Palace and to the Golden Gate Brldge Next he took us on a tour of the slums and told us that the welfare department was dolng great good for the betterment of slum areas tn the clty He also showed us some of the condltlons of these slums As we were walktng up the street we met a lady and were In troduced to her We learned that she was one of the best leaders the welfare depart ment has ever known As we talked with her we reallzed ut was MARTHA TOLAND . l I . , .
