so lt was possible for me to see the drawing I could see why the people had llngered here so long it was one of the most outstandmg drawmgs in me gallerv After I had looked at the draw1ng for quite some tlme I happened to see the name ANTIONFTTE WALH wrote directly above the drawing and I realized that this was some more of FOIIIS fine art After the art gallery had faded away I saw a lawyers office lIlSlhe the Empire State Bulld mg in New York There were a group of people seated ln the waiting room They were d1SCllSS1I1g the Lawvers background Frlm what I could gather from their conversatlon lt seemed that thls partlcular Lawver was outstandmg because people were here w1th dlfflcult cases to solve from all oyer the country The door opened and a man came out he looked at a man seated by the door and said That man IS a lawyer He Just fimshed solving a case for me that I had given to twentv five other lawyers none of whlch could solye it The door then opened and the recognized h1m as PAUL LORENZ I was wonder mg what Paul would do for this man who had mst gona 1nto his office when all at once the scene disappeared Th1s time the scene changed to a ch m1 ts laboratory Here I saw a woman dressed 1n wh1te worklng with test tubes a mlcroscope and many gtnena PICS that looked very SlCk Almost 1m med1ately the guiena pigs began to look some what better and th doctors looked very happv when they saw this I heard one doctor sav o the lady You have discovered a cure for p0ll0' 'Ihe doctors took the test tubes and rushed out the door The woman followed them to the door and I recognized her as JOYCE WILSON I began wondermg what had ever made Joyc do r s ar h work on pol1o when I remembered that when sh turned and walked back 1nto the laboratory I could see that she had entlrely recovered from her attack of what used to be a dreadful dlsease before she had finally discovered a cure The 1mage of Jovce had vanlshed and ln 1ts place I saw a small house tra1le1 Directly across from the trailer I saw a beautiful ranch type house being bullt It seemed the couple whose house was belng bu1lt must have been 1n a hurry to moye in because there were many carpenters working at top speed on lt There in front of the house traller stood a good lookmg sallor Not having seen hlm before I wondered who It could be I didnt haye to wonder verv long because who should come out of the trailer but the for mer MARILYN MATHIAS I could see th1s was a verv happy couple as they stood there to gether admiring their new home The sailor looked down at MHFIIVH with a starry look 1n h1s eyes I was wonderlng what he would do n Xt when almost lnstantly the scene changed This t1me the waves of the lake formed one of the large ranches in Texas Here I saw thousards of cattle hurdreds of o1l wells and a different car for ey ery day of the week I began to wonder which one ot the class was so lucky as to be employed by this rich rancher The scen then changed to inside the ranchers beautlful home Here I saw a young man flirting with 2 bcautlful young lady But that IS only the half of it because when she left two others came un and he treated them the same Just then he turned so I could see his face and I reallved that a fncmbe of the class did not work here but that th wealthy lancher was FRED HUPRICH The image of Fred faded away and lt was replaced bv the campus of Miami Un1vers1ty Here I saw a large audlence and on stage was the graduation class Wondermg 1f I knew any of this class I began to look over the class and whom d1d I see but ANN RINEHART Ann had evldently been the best student of her class be cause before long she rose and gave the valedlc torlan address Not only was Ann the best stu dent 1n her class but she also recelved the re ward for the most outstandmg varsity cheerleader at Mlaml I then left Ann on my lmagmary trip and went aboard a airliner that was bound for Europe As I looked over the passengers they all seemed ln a daze It must e1ther have been that they were frlghtened at the thought of being off the ground or else It was because the plane had just hit an a1r pocket Maklng her way through the 31516 one passenger to another was a young a1rl1ne hostess She stopped beside a man wlth a small child who was crying and as the a1r l1ne hostess beside a man with a small child who was crvlng and as the alrlme hostess stooped to talk wlth the chlld the ch1ld was soon laughlng W1th thls the hostess moved on and soon I saw all the passengers were laughing The a1rl1ne hostess turned her face toward me and she was sm1l1ng w1th what she had accomphshed Al though the scene was gettlng rather fa1nt I saw that lt was ERMA SCARR A cute llttle house Just outside a nedium slzed town came into my view Immedlat ly my attentlon was taken by two small children play mg 1n the yard After seeing thelr faces I realized they were twms One of the twlns fell on the cement and after crying for sometlme 1tS mother rushed out of the house I recognlzed her as the was plckxng up the small ch1ld and tellmg h1m he wasnt hurt I saw a new blue Pontiac pull lnto the drlve After seemg the blue Pontlac I could have guessed who Erma had marrled but I decided to be sure before I came to any con cluslons As he turned toward me I heard a noise behmd me After not seemg anythlng I again faced the lake by this tlme the scene was gone In 1ts place I saw a scene taking place at West Polnt Here I saw a large group of young Cadets rece1v1ng their diplomas After much shouting and many hats had been thrown mto the a1r one Cadet 1n particular took my eye This Cadet was pinning a very large pm on a young lady The lmage changed and I saw a very beautlful chapel Outslde the chapel I saw the same voung couple comlng through the arch of swords Th1s was the most beautiful slght I had ever seen I found myself envymg the young lady The Cadet turned towards me and I recog nlzed h1m as DONALD FARNSWORTH Th girl IS non other than then Oh Gee the fish has splashed water 1nto my eyes and the fish said That takes care of the memb rs of the Class of 52 in a daze from what I had seen I thought I heard my name I listened this tlme I was CLASS PROPHECY We were many days out at sea aboard the hlp Hlsponolla when the first of many strange events o curred Our shlp had played hlde and seek w1th fog banks and 1n general the sea was rough So rough ln fact that the last howlmg blast of wmd rlpped our mam sail and left xt droopme uselesslv It was a long weary nlght and we were glad when the earllest rays of dawn brlghtened the portholes that the storm had quleted down and the sea was begmnmg to calm We dragged our selves from our cablns and managed to get top szde and look over all the damage the storm had wrought The lookout yelled down from the crows nest that there was an object fioat1ng 1n the water off the starboard bow I boarded a lxfeboat and went out to see what the floatmg object was Once aiioat I finally reached the object wh1ch proved to be a bottle wh1ch contalned a my sterlous looklng paper Fearfully I removed the paper from the bottle At first lt looked lxke a chlld s drawlng However after gazmg at lt for sex eral mlnutes I realized 1t to be a map d1rect1ng me to a place called Ha1t1 Island Belng of the adventurlous type I vnmedlately set out for the destmatxon dlrected on the map Hav1ng reached the dest1nat1on dxrected on the map I left my hfe boat and went to explore the Island Here I Spled a path wh1ch I followed After wandering along the path for some t1me I came upon an entrance to a cave I entered and met a man 1ns1de After convers1ng w1th h1m for some tlme he told me of some mterestlng hap pemngs at Future Lake After to1l1ng along for several hours I finallv reached the lake Im dlsmay I saw only my own refiectlon Bemg dxsappomted after commg th1s far I sat down to rest I was st1ll however gazlng 1nto the lake when a fish Jumped ashore Look1ng dlrectly at me he Sald I am Future Flsh Whose future would you l1ke to known Astonlshed I Jumped to my feet rushed toward the talkmg fish and Sdld THE CI ASS OF 52 OF BALTIC HIGH' When I reached the fish he Jumped 1nto the lake splashlng water 1nto my eyes wh1ch left a famt 1mage After blmkmf' several tlmes I reallzed lt to be the scene of a large banquet I tr1ed to figure out the occaslon because lookmg over the crowd I saw many famous people The toast master got up and mtroduced the Coach of Oh10 State Umverslty The coach spoke about the basketball player who had been Ohio State s most outstandme player of the year and by vote he had also been chosen Most Valuable Basketball was gettlng the best of me untll the coach fimshed Play er of the Umted States for the year Anx1ety speakmg and was ready to mtroduce th1s player When th play er rose to FGCBIXC the large three root trophv awaltmg h1m I recognlzed h1m as none other than the famous hlgh school athlete DEAN HUPRICH Just as I recogmzed Dean the fish splashed water 1nto my eyes and the scene began to change Next I saw the Queen Ellzabeth come mto the dock I saw the passengers comlng down the plank Many of them were young men and women who you could see were takmg the1r places 1n the armed forces The very last pas senger to get off looked fam1l1ar so I looked agam and then I recogmzed her to be SHIRLEY LINI BACHER I could tell by her unlform that she had enllsted 1n the Wacs As she stepped OH the plank she was welcomed by several glrls whom I had never seen I heard Shlrley telhng them of some of the thlngs that she had been doing She sald she held the rating of a Captam I began to wonder what other things had happened to Shlrlew when suddenly the image was SOHS A roundhouse appeared and here I saw several mechamcs repalrmg delsel locomotlves One man whom I could see only from the back took mv eye by the way he went about do1ng h1s work It seemed to me that thls man was an ex pert Also whenever one of the other mechamcs dld not QUIIS understand how they were to do a certaln thmg they would come and ask h1s ad v1ce Just then one of the other men called for hxm to come over and explaln a certaln part to htm When the mechanxc got up to go and g1ve the adv1ce he turned h1s face toward me and I realized lt was RONALD ECKERT The image of Ronnie dlsappeared and I saw a doctors 03109 As the door opened I couldnt tell what type of doctor occup1ed th1s OHICC then I saw a Cert1ficate of Dlploma hanglng on the wall From that I declded she was a medlcal doctor A man then entered the offlce carry1ng a wounded chlld The doctor appeared and she 1mmed1ately started taking care of the ch1ld I could see that she was determlned to save the chxld s hfe Fmally she looked up at the parents w1th a smlle and told them that the chlld would get better I recogn17ed th1s lady doctor as PATRICIA FRIEND Just as the image was fadlng away Th1s t1me I saw a large 0fflC0 bulldlng at several hundred bookkeepers who were at work at thevr own desks In the center of th1s large room a small area was enclosed ln glass Th1s small OHICC was the locatlon of the Presldent of the Offlce Workers of General Motors I also saw a slgn on the door of the Presldents 05106 wh1ch read Dut1es of the Presldent It seemed that the mam duty of the Presldent was to over see the other 0ff1C6 workers and 1f they had any dlfflculty ln solv1ng anythlng they were to come to the Presldent for adv1ce Belng able to see lllSlde the 06106 I saw the Presxdent seated at her desk and recogmzed her as JOAN OTT The scene changed to the front page of the lNew York Dally Tlmes The headlmes of the paper were LANDBURG NEW DREAM AUTO MOBIIE I began to wonder what was so d1f ferent about th1s car so I started to glance over the art1cle Here I not1ced that lt had many 1m provements over anv car I had ever seen How evel the part of the artlcle that fasclnated me most was that the car was entlrely made of plast1c body motor and everythmg Th1s IS when I began to reallze that lt surely must hate taken some mvent1ve mmded person to 1n sent th1s car so I began to look back over the artlcle to see who thls person actually was The prlntmg was gettlng rather famt when at the beglnnmg of the artlcle I found the lnventor to be GARLAND BLRGER I then saw the 1ns1de of an art gallery here some people were lookmg over the art of some of the worlds best artlsts It seemed that the people lmgered the longest at one partlcular drawmg When nearly all the people had left ' .
