HE DMASTER s MESSAGE .iff j- :bv -'.y,Q+- IN 55:2-' at -' , ' , , 35 WY I would first like to commend the entire Grade 12 class for their spirited contribution to school life during the l987!88 academic year. As the largest class ever to graduate from Balmoral Hall, they provided the rest of the student body with the stimulus, academically, athletically and extra-curricularly. With the zest for life they displayed this year, I have no fears about their future success. The Prefects, led by Kristin Shanski, and ably assisted by Andrea Ober- dieck and jenny Hill provided inspired leadership and efficient organization for school activities. The two Grade 7, 8 and 9 school dances were a great success due to their efforts. It has been a busy year with Choir and student exchanges, debating tournaments, sporting events, new courses, new staff and the ap- proaching Phase l of our renovation scheme. As I write, the demolition team has begun to 'attack' the junior School and Dalton House, creating for September, a state-of-the-art junior School facility. In the fall, the official kickoff of the 'Enriching Her Tomorrows' cam- paign will take place. Much excitement is in store for the B.H. family in the years ahead. E.G. Staunton Headmaster

Well here it is - done, fini and terminado tSpanish if you didn't knowll I liked what I was doing and enjoyed it even more knowing I was doing it for all of you, especially the grads. I know I am not the greatest speller or the quickest worker but I like to think I did a good job for you. I hope you can look back in this book and have it help you remember what a great year it was, It was the best for me and I will really Ialreadyi miss my classmates. I love you all, and really hope that you will enjoy this book of memories! A big thanks to Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Sures and Heather Ifor a great fight with SJ.
