Without Mrs. Honey this school wouldn't be the same. She knows every student by name and is always willing to go out of her way to help a student. Most of us know Mrs. Honey as a kind caring per- son and I know I will always remember her when I think back to my years at Balmoral Hall. May many more students know you as the great lady we knew! LOVE THE '88 GRADS! HE DMASTER s MESSAGE .iff j- :bv -'.y,Q+- IN 55:2-' at -' , ' , , 35 WY I would first like to commend the entire Grade 12 class for their spirited contribution to school life during the l987!88 academic year. As the largest class ever to graduate from Balmoral Hall, they provided the rest of the student body with the stimulus, academically, athletically and extra-curricularly. With the zest for life they displayed this year, I have no fears about their future success. The Prefects, led by Kristin Shanski, and ably assisted by Andrea Ober- dieck and jenny Hill provided inspired leadership and efficient organization for school activities. The two Grade 7, 8 and 9 school dances were a great success due to their efforts. It has been a busy year with Choir and student exchanges, debating tournaments, sporting events, new courses, new staff and the ap- proaching Phase l of our renovation scheme. As I write, the demolition team has begun to 'attack' the junior School and Dalton House, creating for September, a state-of-the-art junior School facility. In the fall, the official kickoff of the 'Enriching Her Tomorrows' cam- paign will take place. Much excitement is in store for the B.H. family in the years ahead. E.G. ' 1' What a wonderful and weird year we had! lt's nice to know that we have the nicest rez in Canada - 'and our own bathroom'! Security is not that tight- remember to pack lots of rope for the new year tour guard may gain some weight this summer while eating doughnuts in Miss Bonnett's rooml. On a less serious note, always remember all the fun we had, give Mrs. Whyte-Coussey a fire extinguisher and turn out your lights at eleven Cthen get out your blow torchl. I guess I should really let you know that BH is not only our school but our life and rez makes it a place that you'Il never forget. We've grown to love, respect and accept all of our 'sisters', from all over the world. I will sure miss life at B.H. lt has taught me, and you, that no mat- ter who you are, you can succeed because there are people who care. They will love and support you in every decision you make. Have an excellent year and always cherish your years at B.H. Love always, Patti Kostachuk ' f 51 -5,5 mf fT5'jX: a- ,I W , tiki ,img ' ?2i,g3'55X,,,x,y'-2 .ww 4, A , A.,. A .,,, ,, -. - , . ' - Being Sports Captain for this past year has been a new and rewarding experience for me. New because we had to start our inter-house system all from scratch, and rewarding because I was able to see the fun everyone was having with the events we had planned. I was sorry to see the weekly inter-house competition melt, thaw and resolve into a dew , but everyone was able to show their enthusiasm during the three biggies , ski day, swim meet, and track and field day. I hope that inter-house competition will be brought back to a weekly event. It gives everyone a chance to have fun, laugh, exercise and of course, take part in a little friendly competition. It would be a shame to see the house spirit that has been alive in the school for years, fade out and be non-existent. I'd like to thank my twelve househeads for their help and cooperation throughout the year lespecially when the house boxes needed to be changed. Right Braemar?J The best of luck to next year's Sports Captain and Sports Council. And may the years ahead be the best that Balmoral Hall has ever seen. We were soon to find out that Andrea had a split personality and called the other side Nikki. Andrea's residence life was certainly one to remember. She always enjoyed a good horror movie on a LATE Saturday night. She could almost always be seen under a large pile of blankets, pale and ill, but she always pulled through. In grade 11 she became Head of Residence and just barely managed to remain sane. Andrea could always be seen or rather, heard displaying her support for the basketball teams, Hurray for Andrea! ln grade 12 Andrea became our beloved School Captain representing the school with enthusiasm. Well, I have come to the end, but to you, Andrea, I wish luck and good fortune wherever you may be. LAURA GARRETT Laura joined the B.H. clan in kindergarten. She stayed here until grade 6 and left for four years returning happily in grade 10. Hitching rides from teachers and canteen duties quickly filled up Laura's days at B.H. Who knows, maybe you'll get the beast for grad after all. Yeh Right . Laura's design art abilities were only beaten by her moods and pulled teeth , frequented by suck- ing tea bags in English class. Thanks for sharing . Grade 12 dragged Laura out of her house and into new driving experiences. If you'd stick around maybe you could have a drink and get used to magic for once! Between the 2-mile washboard road and u-turns, Laura's weekends were frequented by parties, coffee, and Haywire. Black and Blue, Laura -the speed limit's 80, and watch the garbage cans. Don't forget, you're only allowed one man at a time, just cause they're brothers doesn't mean they come as a pair, so take Pierre. We'll miss you nuggs. Oh . . . don't forget the Henkel! TANIA KOTELEWETZ Tania came 'south' to B.H. in grade 7 where she spent three years in res. Those three years were spent well by playing practical jokes and raising terror with her r00m-mates. When grade 10 rolled around, Tania had enough of res. life and became a day girl. Throughout her years at B.H., Tania became known for her inability to understand why we all thought it was so cold outside. By grade 11 and 12, you could see Tania dribbling into action up and down the basketball court. In grade 12, Tania became our library Prefect and was always providing the 'missing links' in our English classes. One could always find Tania in the library or going to Grandma's tLee'sJ. Wherever you will be next year and the years to come, Tania, may all the success and happiness be with you. DENA LIEBRECHT Dena came to B.H. in grade two, and ever since then, has wanted out. She finally got her wish late one October night in '87 when her fairy godmother made a surprise appearance in a dark parking lot. Oh Yeah! Genga soon lost all control of her life, and past experiences such as SHAD, and B.H. plays were quickly dropped. Nights involved wandering around, knocking into gongs, searching for The Sub. When not at the sky is blue , Dena could be found fighting with mactac in the canteen, or at the U of M, studying the great reference material, OOPS! Ya Winnie, you finally made it, but some last advice, don't get involved with the Milkman, he works too closely with cows, and remember, it's not the eyes that are important. Nuts! Oh, by the way, when are you gonna tell your parents about that lamaican?! Good luck next year at Waterloo, tyou are going!J, and have some hairspray for us lifers every once in a while! CATRIONA RUNCIE Catriona joined our green family in grade 12 all the way from the large metropolis of Brandon. Catriona is a quiet girl, though she avidly takes part in class discussions. Catriona is another one of those ballet nuts too, like Noriko. Catriona is part of the big rez family and manages to stay out of Ms. W.'s way. We don't know what Catriona is going to do in the future, but we sure hope she has some idea! With whatever you choose to do the graduating class wish you all the luck in the future. tAnd don't burn your kilt, eh!! IENNY BUECHEL jenn B. has been a part of the B.H. family since grade 4. Since entering B.H. she has broken two arms, edliciently painted a poster with the wrong end of the paint brush, yearned for downtown Vancouver, and given the grade elevens a prime example on how to perfect the 'Labour' laugh. Out of school her accomplishments range from holding two part-time jobs, getting over mono, digging out corks with kilt pins, writing the well acclaimed book IOI uses of cigarette lighters , and redecorating a cenain Kenora bathroom in technicolor. Other then New York fries with mayonnaise, the only thing jenny hates are the fungi she has to work with at Woh-Smith . Next year we'll all be able to see len at Queen's in her chem. lab, wearing her Osh Kosh B'Gosh overalls, and bopping to the tunes of INXS. Her ambition is to get her name in an encyclopedia, but C.M. knows that she was born to ride the Holiday Mtn lifts, singing soprano in Are you my Woman . CASSIE KLAYH Cassie came to B.H. and Glen Gairn in grade one and is thought of as one of the few Lifers left. Most of us thought that she was a shy girl who never said much one way or another 84 was content to do crafts for a living, but a few of us know the real Cassie - The Diet Coke Addict! Have FAITH, CASPER! someday a MORMON ARMY MAN will drive up in his MINI-VAN 84 SILENTLY take you to your SECOND HOME after stopping at YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY to pick up GANGA while sing- ing I WANT YOUR . . . OOPS! Cassie hopes to enter Education at UBC where no man will be safe in their dorms! Fifteen years from now I expect to see her with a string of kids who all look alike, and still saying YES! I am in EDUCATION! Good luck in the future, go for it and succeed! Lop o vop e yop a! CHRISTINE MCINNES iaka Steenie, Wiener, Beaneri Christine decided to grace the halls of B.H. in grade I and hasn't left since. Voted Miss Obnoxious for the past six years running by most teachers, and C.H., Steen can often be heard saying I'm so duh-lex-ic and laughing at Iackie's hair. On weekends, this ski bunny's hobbies include terrorizing Ford drivers in her boogey-mobile, leaving l.B. stranded in undesirable circumstances, and jeering Hey babee . . . wanna go to Grad? to any male that moves. Fond memories of B.H. include: a certain Math teacher saying IF YOU AND IENNY WEREN'T SUCH GOOD STUDENTS, YOU'D BE OUTTA HERE IN SECONDS , aggravating the locals on ski day, be- ing concerned about the state of canteen posters, and singing bass in Are you my Woman . Wienie's ambition is to be a glamourous art gallery owner in New York , but we all know she'll follow in mummy's footsteps and have 27 daughters instead. Good luck and we'll miss you and your laugh! KATHERINE MacKENZIE Kathy returned to B.H. this year after a long venture to parts unknown. Kathy is part of the rez family and is enjoying her grade I2 superiority. At the moment, and most moments in the near past, Kathy has been trying to draw Winnie ithe Pooh, for her quiltl the right way. After many attempts we think she's got it, am I right? Though Kathy misses many of her classes because of health problems I think we all know Kathy well and can say that she's a great gal! To whatever you do Kathy we wish you the best of luck in the future! CHRISTINE HINCHLIFFE Christine has been another graduate at B.H. who has known no other school since grade I. She will always be known as being a staunch supporter of world peace, conservation, and the YMCA. She has even been known to organize her own group such as: a very elite club in grade 6, Blue Art in grade 9, and peace organizations of her own in grade I2 iwhat?l. Remembrances of Christine Iaka in her younger years Hinchyi will be of her sneaking into other rooms and sleeping on their floors on ski weekends, driving through red lights and hitting curbs, continually chanting her camp songs down the halls, turning green in sex ed, and doing left-handed calculus. Her ambition is to go to King College and read 94 books in her first year IGoodLuckl Well, to our friend to the friendless we wish you all the best, happiness and success in years to come. ,,,.-.-.... . 4. So, of course, Bridget made all kinds of friends. Who wouldn't want to be friends with the girl who dined with the king, drove the prince's Mazarotti, and had a camel disco in her backyard. Bridget was in res. her first and second years at BH. During this time she became involved in res. life, boys, judging some debating tournaments, aerobics fin that oh so daring outfit! and, yes, you guessed it, . . . boys! Bridget didn't seem to have the same boyfriend for more than a month! iOh how we envied her!! When Bridget returned to Grade 12, she kissed her tropical home in Saudi Arabia, the Condo , and BH res. goodbye, to live in Charleswood and be a day girl. tOh well B., at least you have your health!! It's bye bye to B. this june as she motors away to McDonald's drive-thru in the Stang ! Like, bye man, thanx for the shake! , and for being part of our lives! Keep smiling that great smile and you've got it made! SARAH ANDRUSCO Upon Sarah's arrival at BH, she had no kilt, a tin grin, a great bod tjust a little too dark to be a real tanl, and a friendly disposition. She will leave with none of the above, now Sarah has two kilts, no braces, a BH backyard tan, and an even friendlier disposition than before! iMaybe even a little too friendly . . . Minneapolis . . . 3 days . . . OH SURE!! Sarah is originally from Saskatoon, Saskachewan lWhy is it called the parking lot of the world, Sarah?J, but fits right into friendly MB, in fact so well that she hopes to remain here to attend U. of M. next year! Sarah has actively participated in Res. council, curling, and gourmet cooking during her stay at BH. She can often be seen with a handful of cards, shopping in the Club, having coffee at Lox, or carrying big bags of goodies down Langside with a certain other rezi. GOODBYE Sar bear, we'll miss you, your laugh, and your one-eyed squinty grin! See you land your 7th hubby! at the BH 88 Reunion! PATTI KOSTUCHUK fPatrushca, Patticakes, Gerry! Patti decided to grace the halls of B.H. in grade 10 from the ever exciting metropolis of Flin Flon. She loves to play volleyball and played for both freshmen and varsity teams in her days. Grade 10 was a great year for Patti, she was both president of her class, captain of the volleyball and snagged her boyfriend jeff lof now over 2 yearsl. To the best of our knowledge residence has never been the same, especially in grade 12 when she was Head of Residence. We've all grown to love and to hate Patti for asking questions in calculus class like Why is the derivative of x3, 3x? . We all love her for her absence from 300 Physics. But she makes up in Calculus where she doesn't understand anything but still managed to get 98 !0 on her exam. We will never forget her escapades with us in China last March - where she introduced the SIR boys to her un- forgetable laugh, being the most emotionally attached to the Chinese, and her need to purchase something everyday. We're all just so sad that Patti is leaving us! Love Ya! DAWN SEARLE Dawn came to B.H. in grade 9 because she needed a clean start. Dawn's cleaning lady protested that if Dawn was going to stay a substantial raise was in order. Mrs. Searle decided she could ship her to a great school for less than her cleaning ladies wages. Dawn was involved in baseball, volleyball, curling, and tried new sports such as skating and skiing and did very well land anythging that involved potential weight lossl. Dawn liked her weekends the best. If she wasn't spending them at the University one could find her taking dancing lessons at the Waterfront. Anytime Dawn needed cheering up a flash of a Mac card would do. Great things are in store for Dawn. Good luck. We love you! AMY STUART Amy came to B.H. in grade 11 with high hopes until she saw Bridget staring at her yellow eyeshadow in opening assembly! She tried to escape, knowing that if she associated with this person her high hopes would soon be down the tubes, but Mrs. B.'s sharp finger stopped her. And thus came the beginning of Amy's B.H. school career, without her high hopes! Between grade 11 81 12, Amy travelled to Paris and finally had a chance to use all her years of French. She liked it so much that she plans to return after graduation. lPossibly to visit a certain French fellow, Amy?l Amy is destined to live a romantic Parisienne life! Amy is a major cause of bruises among friends, as many arguments are over whether she drives a punch bug or a slug bug ! Amy is a fabulous flirt, but being such a nice girl, how could she be anthing else! She loves Scandals and loves to discuss them while passively sit- ting on the shores of the Waterfront! Au Revoir Mes Amies! Bon Fortune Pour Vous! CAROLE ANN MYERS In 1985 B.H. welcomed a 'new girl' from Fort Frances, Ontario with a great smile and an uncanny resemblance to B.H. alumnae jennifer Myers. Unfortunately, we only saw those pearly whites one other time all year, just to hear the details of her flogellelle form. But in grade 11 she returned as an old girl to become a 'rezi'. Carole Ann Myers is her name, one that won't be easily forgotten in the B.H. halls. She participated in rez life, the school musical, and the curling club during her time at B.H. tThat's aside from the obvious, advanced chem. and physics clubs! Residence lost her to her new home in Tuxedo this year, but she has remained a faithful B.H.'er. When she isn't driving D.S. around the city in Yimmie the Rabbit or Madelyn the Zed, she is talking long distance for hours! land it's not to mommy back home in F.F.! Carole Ann is no stranger to TD Bank Instanteller, McD's drive-thru's the windows of Portage Place, or the foodline at the Waterfront. You'll go far Carole Ann! Keep smiling and knock 'm'dead!. P.S. Will the real lerry please stand up! SHARON STEIMAN Sharon came to B.H. in grade 7 after being rejected by her former school mates. B.H. happily took her in as a student since she could afford the small tuition fee. After bribing a few kids with chocolate milk and potato chips she gained some friends. In grade 10 after two hundred gallons of chocolate milk and two hundred kilograms of salt and vinegar chips, Sharon became house head. That same year, since Sharon didn't eat any of the food she brought to school she was in good enough shape to be on the volleyball team. The next summer Sharon met the best thing in her life, we all know who that is. In grade 11 no one else wanted to be president, so in an attempt to gain more friends Sharon took the job. In Sharon's graduating year she was elected head of Glen Gairn. But, people began to wonder how accurate the votes were when Ted S. found a hundred dollar bill in Elizabeth's pocket. Even after all that food she still had to pay Carol, Kristin, and Darlene to let her be in their picture. Am- bition: Fashion Designer. Fate: Old Dutch employee. CAROL WINTEMUTE The year was 1981 and never were so many faces lit up when Carol walked through the doors of B.H. Carol constantly cheered everyone up with her smiling face and words of wisdom. Since the day she entered B.H., Carol has terrorized the halls with her overactive behaviour, which could bring a smile to everyone's face. Always seen smiling or yelling, Carol adds life to all her classes - some question as to whether this was beneficial or not. Carol's leadership qualities shone through right after she arrived, as she was elected the Head of Ballater in grade 6, 10 and 12! During these years, she led her house to well . . .a good time, and taught them all to be loud and boisterous. A truly athletic person, Carol has graced us with her ability in Rhythmic Gymnastics, and made B.H. proud with her long jump skills and her speed on the track. Her last year will be remembered most by - her nights at the Keg iworking, blowing paychecks, picking up waiters, etc.J, her inseparability from her pal Darlene or Darlene's rides home - no one's sure - getting her goal of making the Honour Roll, her spirit in school events -face it, the girl's got what it takes to make it! Keep the spirit alive, we'll all miss you! tmaybe some day you'Il own the Keg! KRISTIN SHANSKI This sparkling little Red-head girl entered the halls of B.H. in a mini-tunic with a freshly 'dry-cleaned' little white shirt. Kristin looked up and saw the tallest, happiest, friendliest girl she ever did see. Fired with ambition, Kristin was determined to be that girl. In 1981 Kristin became the Head Girl ofjunior School, Exciting as it was, Kristin needed more. With nothing to stop her she charg- ed into and through junior high. Upon entering grade 10 Kristin dreamed of boys teven though she had never seen one before! tOops, except kindergarten menl. In Kristin's world everything is wicked and amazing and that's why she's here. Bonking the volleyball around with her stubby fingers and becom- ing exceptionally active with the grad committee, Kristin finally made it to grade 12. Fortunately, Kristin became the ultimate Head Girl of our school. We don't know how she does it but she definitely must have connections - up above too. Immaculate in work and play, we all love her smile, and finally - long red hair. We will miss you Kristin - see you at Princeton!! tlove P.K.l DARLENE ANDISON Darlene landed in our little green family many a year ago, in kindergarten. Had it not been for her desire to seek better things elsewhere in grade 7, she would have been one of the few lifers in our class. Dardy showed up only a short 12 months later on the steps of Richardson Hall. Darlene could always be seen in her little red rabbit, taxiing Carol and other friends around the city. lt wasn't until the final 8th accident that the decision was made to switch from a rabbit to a faster stronger fox. But don't worry, all of the accidents happened while she was parking, not actually driving! Darlene became Head of Craig Gowan in grade 12, and much to her surprise tand ours!! she managed to achieve that golden H' to wear on her SIR tie! Way to go Darty. We want this blue eyed blonde to know that we will miss her a lot and we wish her all the best as a Capitalist leader! Q Q X 5 . I A W6 W . ig , - A S ' ' fn 4 A 'g my . We do know she loves Chinese music and that she used to play in the Chinese Orchestra in Hong Kong. Though Tina is not a sports nut, she does like to play bad- minton, maybe because she is so good at it?! Tina loves to collect cups and has at least 10 icutei cups in her room because she can never pass a cute one up. Tina is very quiet in class and never says a word. Besides, you can always find her in her room after school, in fact, at any time. Tina plans to continue her studies at the University of Ontario. Good luck in the future Tina, it has been nice having you as part of our family. NORIKO HAGIWARA Noriko came to Canada this past year and is staying in rez. Noriko is nuts about ballet and may be staying in Winnipeg next year to continue her ballet. Noriko wants to become a pro- fessional dancer, and no doubt she will. She is very energetic and never gets tired, she goes to ballet school everyday after school. She also attends ESL classes from Monday to Wednesday after ballet. And to top that, she sometimes does aerobics after that. Believe it or not, our little Noriko is the biggest fan of Elvis, and she has many life-size posters of him everywhere in her room. Wherever you may be Noriko we wish you the best of luck and maybe hope to watch you in action at ballet! AKIKO HOSHIO Akiko joined our family this year along with Noriko. Akiko loves to play Ken-do everyweek tdon't ask me what that isl. Don't make her angry, she'll probably hit you liust kiddingl. Although she can't speak English well, she loves English songs, you can always find the latest tapes in her room. She also loves to watch movies, which she does every week though sometimes she doesn't really understand them. Akiko is never in study at rez, not because she is lazy but because she goes to ESL tEnglish as a second language! course every Monday to Wednesday and she goes to Ken-do every Thursday. She loves Sesame Street, especially Cookie Monsterg she even has a cup and toothbrush from Sesame Street. Every once in a while tactually quite often! you can see her stuffing her face with food from her care package from home. Akiko can't decide whether to stay in Canada or to go home next year. Whatever you do, Akiko, we wish you lots of luck! EVA SHUM Eva appeared in the B.H. halls halfway through grade ll and has stayed since then. In rez, Eva is known as Shum Body Special which is exactly what she is. Eva took all her arts courses in Hong Kong and is taking mostly sciences at B.H. Eva, the brain can always give an answer in Math even when Mrs. B. can't! Eva has a lot of spirit bottled up inside her and we know it's there - who would stand outside and root for her class when it was -300 outside besides someone with spirit? We know we are all going to miss Eva, and we wish her the best of luck ias if she needs it, eh!! in the future! ELIZABETH OLIVER Elizabeth came to B.H. in grade 11 and was then part of the rez family. This year Elizabeth broke through the doors of rez and is now a day girl and can be seen walking to school in her kilt and long underwear! tNaughty, Naughty, Elizabeth! One thing I know for sure about Elizabeth is that she HATES to get her picture taken. Elizabeth was quite shy when she first joined our family but has managed to overcome her shyness and now you can't get her to stop talking about movies and T.V. shows! We all know that Elizabeth wants to go into film making somewhere in Ontario, but she's a little shy and nervous about it. We know you can do whatever you set your mind to, so go for it, Elizabeth, and you will succeed! We wish you the best of luck to help you along the way! jENNY LAMONT jenny, the Kelvin veteran, broke through the doors of B.H. this year and life just hasn't been the same. jenny can be seen cruising in her baby Mazda factually her mom'sJ, though she would rather be with her Baby in the U.S.A. Get it? Got it? Good! Even though she is a little slow at punch lines texpect a call in three days . . .J she managed to pass with flying colors. How? We can't figure it outg she never did her English questions. jenny is active in badminton at the Winter Club, and lifts weights occasionally too! Believe it, or not, jenny is in agreement that a reunion should be held at Grapes on Main. Let's write love poems to waiters for a living - Chicken fingers, Kraftdinner, and free Sarasoda's forever. Next year, jenny is going somewhere, to do something. Good luck and we hope you meet that certain SOMEONE. Get it? Got it? Good! We will all miss jenny next year and her gorgeous smile. Keep in touch. We love you kiddo! P.S. : Hey dude, which way to the beach? Love, the two Muskateers XO. CARRIE LAZARENKO Miss Cosncotology 1988, or Laz's little sister ibut never call her thatj, Carrie joined the family in grade 6, with a middle part and Z-barettes on each side of her head, and leaves us with haircolor that is about as close to her natural color as she can get. Carrie has fond memories of grade 9 81 10 French classes with Mme D. and her daily jaunts with a full carload to McD's. She is the driving monster of what was North Kildonan, and now almost Tuxedo, terrorizing everyone inside and outside of the car. When will you get off suspension? Notorious for her cosmetic advice Now if you put a little indescent blue eyeshadow on your orbital bone, it will bring out your prominent cheek bones . Maybe one of these days she will drop in and attend a few classes. Ask her what courses she'll attend in University, but don't expect an answer. Rest assured anything that has to do with partying, she'll be there. Not to worry, Carrie, one of these days a nice young boy will come along. Good luck in the Arts faculty and finding some direction. Whatever you do decide to do, you'll succeed. Luv Ya! DIANNA MARK Di joined the B.H. family in grade 11 where she was in residence, though she did manage to escape on weekends. She became well known for her great job as manager of the varsity basketball team l Really guys, it's not an easy job, and I get no credit i Well here it is Di- Thanks ever so much, our injuries don't know what they would have done without you! Because of her great job, Mrs. W. volunteered her to manage all the varsity teams this year! This year Di finally broke out of rez for good and is now living in the boonies. You should have moved closer Di, the 'beast' can't handle those long trips anymore! To all ofour surprise Di is a design arts nut and makes wonderful creations, to Mrs. Nickel's delight. Di eeps assuring Mrs. Nickel that her quilt will get finished. Sure! Di was also a very faithful canteen employee who keeps insisting that she hasn't been cheating the little ones out of their gummi bears. And finally, don't worry Di! We'll get you up in that plane with Russel somehow - who knows? You might even get a grad date out of it! tor if that fails there's always coach Chris, our hero!! Bye cooky, We'lI miss you! IACKIE VOCADLO Guaranteed Czech. jAK SE MAS. Our little girl first stepped foot in B.H. in grade 6, she descended upon us with a BANG lHead - eri. She has changed dramatically, from the rowdy black-leather partier to the saintly purple-leather partier. She displayed her strong sense of pride in her white Boston Trade sweats. Her infamous saying of gr. 8 was really , but now . . . it's words that are unprintable. Her insatiable habit of eating Ketchup Chips 81 milk has disgusted everyone, 81 her ter- ritorial tendencies in the gr. 12 geography class have shown her malicious side. Right Amy? Her in- sulting nature has become part of our daily routine, but we all love her anyway. Her aspirations lie in the area of business management and men, the latter being the most important. We have faith that one day you'll find a nice tall Czech boy. Good luck in the future, we know you'll go far! MARGO ANNE ADAMS Margo joined the B.H. clan in grade 6 and has managed to swing her kilt right through to grade 12. Constantly seen behind a thick layer of stage make-up, she sang in the school musicals. While taking part in The Boyfriend Margo found a great date. just joking! Though not an avid sports enthusiast, Margo did her best and had a great time being a part of Craig Gowan. She may have worked ahead in Calculus but she was still as confused as the rest of us. No one knows what Margo will be doing once she enters 'the real world', then again neither does Margo. She was always seen filling in one application or another. Well, whatever Margo does I'm sure that she will be a great success as long as she knows what color her birth certificate is and she doesn't need to fill in any ap- plications ! Good luck to you, Margo! We missed her in the first half of the year, but now she's back to entertain us with her weekend adventures. We could never figure out why she was so good at math problems, but we've found her secret: if I date Tory, Tony, john and Raymond this weekend, and I spend four hours with each guy, how long should I spend getting ready in between dates if I only have forty eight hours? Can you answer that one tjust joking Lisa!! How can we make fun of someone who keeps the hairspray in- dustries booming? Without Lisa, Finesse and Alberto would go bankrupt. Her most challenging prob- lem this year has been the choosing of her grad present. Gucci or leather has always been a big pro- blem to all women, don't you know. Good Luck in the future Lisa, you're a good friend to us all. lDidums et Bloosuml. IENNIFER SNODGRASS Fuf came to B.H. in grade 7 and has been an active member of the B.H. basketball teams and curling teams. We'll always remember her grade 8 party was busting out with fun all over! Her parties now are invites only, and so private that people, publicity, andfor confronta- tion with the you know who . We will always remember jen for her long naps in the common room, and the imprints left on her face from the furniture. jen's aim in life is to become a journalistg we wish you the best of luck on your future and we hope you remember us when you are the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. Grandma Lee's and B.H. all both overwhelmed with jen's attendance and loyalty to the green and gold and the coffee cup. Friends forever jen - we love you and never will forget you! LISA BURRON After spending nine years at B.H. I must start by thanking the teachers for their time and effort spent on me. Throughout grade 12, I had many spares and became known for leaving the school. I spent the time wisely practicing the piano. With music being my forte, I want to make a career of it, teaching in the schools. Despite all this, I think l've gotten to know my class quite well, and I wish everyone a successful future. tAnd all the best to you too Lisa, it has been nice having you as a classmate!! CARLA MATTHEWS In grade II Carla came to her senses and left St. Mary's to join the B.H. family. Last year Carla got the pleasure of playing a boy in the school play, The Boyfriend lby the way, how's jeff?I.
