I-IEADMASTER S ADDRESS HEADMASTEPVS MESSAGE-YEARBOOK '84 Kathleen, the Yearbook Editor, says, I need it now! It's only Ianuary 20th. We are close to half way through a fast moving year. I've never known such a year! Activities ga- lore, a full calendar of events for each term to compliment a full school of happy, vigorous stu- dents, all bursting with ideas to make life at the school more full and rewarding. I am sure this Yearbook will reflect the goings on around our Balmoral Halls! People have often said to me . . . What's the Yearbook all about: what is it for? I can an- swer it very simply. The Yearbook is a record of THE year, which those who attend the school can look at years later and reflect and remem- ber. It is a student publication and a lot of hard work goes into getting it all together. Most of all perhaps, it is a special momento for the Graduates. The class of '84 will treasure this issue more than the rest. It is their year in the sun . I wish every graduate success in whatever fu- ture they choose for themselves. I also want them to keep in touch-a revitalized Alumnae Association is in the works and we'll be contacting all former Balmoral Hall girls. Sincerely, N. Thomas Russell, HEADMASTER Headmastens Report . . . 4
