Editor's Message A dedication is usually reserved to honor one special per- son, but all of you make Balmoral Hall special and there- fore, I dedicate this collection of memories to each and ev- ery one of you. With great hesitation I entered the world of a yearbook editor. Optima Anni 81-82 grew from an impossible dream to the pages of reality that you now hold in your hands. To the graduating class, no one can stop you now , I wish health, happiness and prosperity in whatever you do. I want to thank my dedicated staff. May you never for- get the yearbook week-ends, my jokes, lspare me!!l the hard work and good times. A special thanks to my advisors Mrs. Nickel and Mrs. Sures, who put up with me and my spelling. And to all the others who helped me through this year, Thank You, I never could have done it alone. Carol Premachuk Yearbook Editor. P.S. Headmaster's Message Mr. N. Thomas Russell our headmaster. Mr. Russell and Mr. Carstairs converse in the new library. Heaclmastefs Message 4 This year enrollment in the school is at it's highest level ever. More and more parents are looking to Balmoral Hall for exciting and challenging pro- grammes designed to provide each student the op- portunity to develop academically, personally and socially. In a sense, we have arrived at the crossroads . Do we expand and take in more students, or do we consolidate and embellish what we already have? It is one of the nicest problems I have ever had to face. I consider myself fortunate in having interested and concerned parents, teachers and Board mem- bers, all of whom are as anxious as I am that the school shall continue to flourish. It will, I can assure you! When you read this, the 1981!82 School Year will be behind us and some of you will have left Bal- moral Hall behind as Well. I wish you a happy and successful future. Remem- ber us . . . we will remember you! N. Thomas Russell, Headmaster. ls.. ,vs gl f if ',?f:73ff tjfk f, fffffri ' I' fy r 4 ' -' ,, 4 ':f 'Y- iiiif ' Jtjflfli .w'5, ' 3- .j,..... af .
