The library, multi-purpose room, extra classrooms and general office area have become a part of the whole - a complex of which we can be truly proud. This year we have new people on our Board of Governors. New faces: new ideas and new thoughts for the future. This year I shall end my term as Chairman of the Board. It has been a privilege to serve as the titular head of a growing, vibrant institution and I can look back with tremendous satisfaction on what has been accomplished over the last few years. Those of you who graduate this year have also accomplished a great deal. Hold your heads high as you start a new chapter in your life and may all your future dreams come true. Good luck, John D. Affilfl Ehitnrittl Well another year, another edition of Optima Anni. Please bear with me, as this is the first time I have ever done anything like this. However, the important thing for anyone is that one must try in order to succeed in one's chosen career. If a career isn't for you, then whether you settle down and raise a family, or get a job, you need determination. After all is said and done, a girl must like what she is doing to be happy. Enough of this. I think I'm supposed to be dedicating this Yearbook to someone or some obscure idea. Families are so important in life! They give you love, they allow you to express your opinions in moments of debate, and above all they give you the discipline you need to fulfill your expectations. Our Balmoral Hall Family, led by Mr. Russell, our B.H. Dad, gives us the basis for our future struggle to the top. So as editor of this Optima Anni edition, I would like to dedicate this year's book of memories to the future. May all of you someday make it to the top. Thank you, Optima Anni staff for putting up with my last minute struggle to meet all those deadlines, which would hardly have been possible without your help. Many thanks to Mrs. Nickel, our adviser this year, who gave us her confidence and support. Without it, I probably never would have made it to the end. I think I'll end this while I can.
