The Stranger Once I was walking down the road When I saw a funny froggy toad His eyes were big His nose was small He wasn't very big at all He looked at me And was meaning to say Hello little girl And now good day. By: Stacey Jessiman Grade Three Glen Gairn The Travelling Sandwich In Sudbury, Ontario there was a lady, this lady was making a peanut butter and jam sandwich. There is not anything strange about that. But what she was going to do with the sandwich was very, very strange. She was going to mail the sandwich to Africa. The next day the lady wrapped up the sandwich air tight, then gently dropped the sandwich in the mailbox. From then on the sandwich went through many adventures. When the sandwich was being put in order it came across this man. The man had very big blue eyes, a stomach the size of a horse, plus a nose that Monsters Monsters make me shake They give me heart ache I do not know how so many can get Into my small closet In the night, the night the monsters come out They make me want to shout So remember never to pout when monster are about. By: Roberta Grade Three Glen Gairn could smell food a mile away. It was nearly lunch time so he was very hungry. When he picked up the sandwich and smelled it he whispered, I must have it, I must. But just as he was going to unwrap the sandwich his boss went by so had to put the sandwich in it's correct place. So the sandwich went on to Africa. The sandwich went on the plan safely and came off safely in Africa.
