flbptima Qnni '7 Eulume 25 YEAR BOOK CLUB Mary Grace Ashdown Lori Jacks Brigette Bereznay Susan James Banu Berker Heather Mclntosh Anna Cholakis Shelagh Martin Kate Everette Heather Provis Dawn Goodwin Susan Roblin Katina Ross hitnrial With the arrival of Mr. Martin R. Kenney, as Headmaster of Balmoral Hall, the school awakened to the dawn of a new era. Enrollment is increasing and so is the quality of teaching. The future will see the results of the work of many over a long period of time. The quality of any school is not determined by the texture of its bricks and mortar but rather by the thrust of teaching and being taught. The intimate teaching and fellowship environment at Balmoral Hall provides a unique experience for the attainment of the highest objectives of the educational process. The Grade Twelve class has now become part of the Alumnae group of the school. As the years go by and we gain in maturity, we will even more appreciate the opportunity given us by being part of the environment of the school. As Alumnae, we know that the school will always welcome us. More particularly however, as Alumnae we must recognize our responsibility to give the school full support. ln doing this, future generations can have the enriching experience afforded all of us. The Optima Anni will provide a source book of memories through the years to come. A school yearbook is a most important publication, which like good wine, becomes more treasured with the passage of time. The whole school should participate fully in the production. Unfortunately this has not been the case with the present edition. A warm and special thanks goes to Mrs. Kenney, whose guidance and advise has made this yearbook possible. I would also like to thank Mrs. Buck, who has put a great deal of work into this edition of Optima Anni. On behalf of the Grade Twelve we record our Goodbye, but not our Farewell.
