Life is a fun game until it is experienced So much pride and ego is burnt into the mind of the player. To maintain dignity it becomes essential that he win. He must win! The crowd, the cheerleaders, the members of the team who watch from the sidelines can only cheer him on. The coaches can only give advice. The only people who can win are those on the field! In the anguish of those tense moments when rivals threaten and time is the essence of victory, we cry out — pleading and hoping that our boys will win. Among the clamor of the spectators and the go-fight-wins of the cheerleaders, a feeling of anxiety permeates the bleachers, in hope that triumph will be ours. 63 COLONIAL COUNCIL CHAMPIONS NAME POSITION UNIFORM NUMBER Gregg Thomas QB 12 Ken Broz QB 17 Joe Monaco QB 11 George Snyder QB 14 Mark Thomas HB 32 Jerry DeFlippo HB 25 Dave Weeks HB 21 Tim Peartree HB 42 Steve Nutting HB 24 John Wickson HB 51 Tom Rush HB 23 Bob Ball HB 45 Mark Thornhill HB 43 Tom LaVesque HB 60 Robert Pena HB 16 Bob Talbot HB 12 Jim Dempsey HB 44 Frank Dymond HB 10 Jay Janczak FB 33 Dave Goodemote FB 34 Ron Delucia FB 35 Kevin McDonough FB 30 Steve Cerny End 41 Dennis Filmore End 22 Tim Piester End 84 Pat Becker End 82 Ed Currier .• ‘ End 81 Steve Byrnes 83 Bill Lapp End 31 Tom Kvasnack W? As seniors you are young, ambitious and have many ideas and goals for yourself. Some of you will find your goals very easily met, while many will have to work very hard to succeed at all. If your goals are very easily met then you should raise your ideals and strive for even bigger and better things. Facing the world with all of its pressures, factions and unsettled conditions will be very hard for some of you. Your new found responsibilities are going to require much concentration and energy if you are to be happy. You are young and will be able to cope with these new experiences. In the past the people around you have tried to guide you and help you so that you will be better citizens. In a small way the bank has played its role too in your growing up. As you now graduate from high school, some of you will immediately become familiar with the many of our other services. Many of you will continue your education and not use the bank’s services entirely for a few years to come. Whatever your needs may be, we are ready to serve you and are willing to try to assist you with your financial problems, as we have the people of this community for the past 130 years.
