NWN And we shall not forget our honored living dead. Somewhere on distant battlegrounds lie the sons, the brothers, and the sweethearts of our people. No monu- ment of bronze and marble mark their graves. Time was when their voices and their footsteps echoed and re- echoed through the corridors of Ballinger Senior High School. They cannot return to us-in their bodies, but that freedom which they loved, which they gave their lives for will come. They have died to malce a better world for their friends, their classmates, and their loved ones-to malre it possible for the Stars and Stripes to wave forever over their Alma Mater!
