Uhis S7s the T omS — 1965 Its purpose is to recreate for every student the many gay and solemn, humdrum and frantic moments of this school year. Of course, not everyone will be familiar with the memories connected with each photograph, but if you, the student, discover only one picture which causes you to smile and say, Why I remember thatl , then THE BOMB has fulfilled its mission. Its innovations add a refreshing, personal touch. The green shades of spot color appearing on several pages draw attention to certain features of interest. Pictures in the advertising section promote the idea that we as teenagers are excellent customers for the products and services of businesses in our area. An extra section entitled Activities” is designed to preserve the memories of daily activities at B.M.H.S. Signatures under senior pictures add an original and distinguishing appearance to this section of the annual. This year the faculty have stated their philosophies of education, a subject on which they are well-informed. Headlines on the pages of student pictures highlight the important events of each class throughout the year. With all of these new features, the staff has found it necessary to prepare a larger yearbook. For the first time, THE BOMB has 128 pages. Its preparation has involved long hours of labor, difficult decisions, moments of vexation, and unexpected crises. However, the staff has forgotten these frustrations as we look at the finished product. We hope that our efforts in the preparation of this year's annual will afford satisfaction not only now, but in the years to come when high school will be only a pleasant memory. Its theme is hands performing the many tasks which we dictate to them. Do we realize just how important hands are? The touch of a hand can express dislike, love, sympathy, friendliness, and mutual effort. Hands help us to care for our bodies, labor for a living, and enable us to relax and relax and enjoy our leisure. Although hands are very essential to all of us, we may take them for granted. Without our knowing it, our hands have been largely responsible for this successful and eventful school term.
