Television, one of our newest educators, is viewed in the Photography class. One of the most interesting classes ottered at Ballard to graduating seniors is Photography. Here they learn the proper use ot various types ot cameras and light- ing equipment. They also develop their ovvn negatives and make prints from them. Pat and Colleen are intent upon keeping the plant alive. 30 .v 4 Don, Jerry and Al seem interested in the Van de Graft Generator. Light, sound, electricity, and other phenomena are studied in Physics. ln this class the students begin to learn about the fundamental machines and their ap- plication in this modern age. Possibly the greatest asset for the Botany students is the use of their ovvn greenhouse. Here they seed and cultivate their ovvn plants. They also examine the reaction of plants with chemicals and various other torms of energy such as heat and light.
