ti ' I Fashions This year's fashions started out with the ivy-league look. A buckle added to the backs of shoes and pants was most common. For the girls, blue and red shades were popular in sweaters and skirts, with the matching outfits suitable for school and dates, The boys wore flannel slacks and shirt combinations and also ieans and ivye leaguers. Shoes showed great variety this year. The girls favored lancers, flats, ale alerts, saddles, and cheerleaders. The leading style for the boys were Big M's but bright colored suede desert boots became popular towards spring, Hair styles were short this year, crew- cuts for the boys and brushups for the girls. , 1-X ,, 2, , ,' TX.
