By en- rolling in these courses, one can develop the skills and iudgments necessary for everyday life. Home Economics Department - Lois Legg, Donna O'Connor, and Lucille Jahnke. '1 O33 Physical Education Department - Henry Ben- dele, Marion Swofford, Lucille Trucarro, Nor- man Goldstein. Lunchroom Staff - Madeline Kelley, Laura Lewiston, Lorraine Gronberg, Clara Erickson, Doris Willits, Ann Derksen, and Mar- garet Fish. Not pictured: Delilah Curtis. A necessary part of the Faculty is the lunch- room staff. They prepare lunches and en- deavor to keep a pleasant atmosphere in the lunchroom. All persons need sufficient strength to main- tain good health and do everyday tasks. Through the instruction in the Physical Ed- ucation Department, pupils acquire the know- ledge and desire to do this. I7

Q. Mathematics Department - Ist Row: John Cavers, Forrest Voeks, Frances Owen, John Kuehn. 2nd Row: Lew Witt, Helen Haynes, Elmore Oistad, Sylvia Wiper, 3rd Row: Rodney Pressey, and Alven Thorson. High School Mathematics is continuous from iunior high. Algebra and geometry are basic math courses taken by most students. Trigonometry, math analysis, and algebra lll are given to students who vvish to further their studies in mathematics. The obiectives of the Industrial Arts classes are to provide the opportunity to obtain basic technical and industrial knowledge necessary for the work-day life after high school. Standing: Wallace McAllister, Charles Tepfer, Woodruff Axelson, James Burner, Bronislaus Szymanski, and Donald Burris. This staff keeps our building and grounds clean, neat, and in good order. They vvork hard to maintain everything in the best condition.
