Standing: Mr. McComb, Olsen. ing: Potter, Bolster, Sadler, Molvik. All boys in Ballard are members of the Boys' Club. Through the friendly atmosphere of the Boys' Club room it has made every boy in school feel a part of this organization. Its varied activities have served not only the boys, but the school as well. The Boys' Club has sponsored assemblies for the boys, sports assemblies for the entire student body, and worked together with the Girls' Club in planning White Day and the P.-T.A. Dances. The greater cabinet of Boys' Club includes the officers, executive council, yell king, president of Tri B, and chairmen of various committees. The cabinet, along with Mr. McComb, have given the Boys' Club the noteworthy leadership that made this a very successful year. The Boys' Club attendants aid Mr. McComb in running the Boys' Club room. The attendants signed boys in and out of the room, answered telephone calls, and took messages. They are responsible for the quiet, orderly, and friendly atmosphere of the Boys' Club room. Every boy in Boys' Club is like a note in music, although it is possible to get along without him, it's so much better with him. 26

Miss Mills Advisor Girls and their Dads waltz at the Father- Daughter Night. The Girls' Club Representatives were the Bars and Staff of the Girls' Club. Rep- resentatives were elected from each roll room, and they met every Wednesday morning. Afterwards, the representatives returned to their rolls and reported to the girls what had been discussed in the meeting. Although the representatives had a difficult iob to do, their reward came in knowing that they had served their school, and that their efforts helped the Girls' Club to carry on its excellent record of school service. Advisor The Boys' Club committees have been very busy this year. With the aid of Mr. McComb, they got off to a fast start by forming a Good Citizenship Committee. This committee had success in improving our behaviour at games and around school. The Assembly Planning Committee did a wonderful iob of staging Boys' Club assemblies. The Dance Committee helped to get oft many good dances at the Field House. On White Day, the Boys' Club helped the Girls' Club plan and make this traditional day an exciting event. than The Boys' Club encourages participation in creative work, here Bill Nickerson looks on as Jerry Blake puts the finishing touches on his gun rack. 27
