If that ancient yet ever applicable adage, There is strength in union, be true, our school, its supporters and its students are iron-clad and strongly fortified to cope with any situation which may present itself. For, were it not for this union that exists Ballard would not be able to put forth a baseball team which will bring home the championship to us nor would they be able to put forth any material for any of the school activities which could hold their own with any of the other high schools, be- cause Ballard has not got the students from which to choose. But although the enrollment of Ballard is perhaps the smallest of any high school in the city those that are enrolled are boys and girls that are alive and doing and that is what makes the school ust at this time of the year high school life IS at its height There IS another class to be added to the alumni They are stepping out into the world Retiring Staff Left to right top row ames Lee Florence Freyd Ursula ohnson center row George E Walter Faculty Adviserj George Pierrot fEditor in chief Archie Albee fBusmess Managerl bottom row Marjorie Pierrot Evelyn Haugum fAss1stant Edltorl Alice Michaud Hazle Howell Gladys Bare Peter Hansen J , . . .
