Time and time again students were doing long-term as- signments in short-order time. Apathy was not the word for most students; it just seemed that the most important things came first. Finding a president was important to the ad- ministration -- important enough to hire the Presidential Search and Assessment Services, PSAS, to help with the search. And so, the search was on, but few if any students took the time to involve themselves in the search. The PSAS and the administration would locate a new president regardless of whether students focused any attention on the search.
