Campus Clubs Offer a Variety of Activities This year's speech club was most active during the first semester. Almost all of the fifty members met four nights a week. Their first speech contest was in November and they competed against eleven other schools. In that competition they brought back a fifth place trophy. Their next contest was the one in the spring on March 19 and e championship was on April 30. As in the past, Mrs. Vicki Poulson served as advisor and coach of our speech am . Birdies Fly on Friday. . . The Badminton Club is made up of 45 seventh, eighth and ninth grade students. They meet every Friday after school and they play just for fun. An all school tournament in which trophies were awarded to the top boy's and girl's singles, the top boy's and gir1's doubles and the top mixed doubles was held during the year.
