1 f ffl?viav.1f- Q - N- -.4111-nigga gs. '2 ' '- On January 20, the faculty was psychologically and physically un- prepared for the big game with the powerful varsity squad. The faculty took an early lead with Coach Berry scoring 21 points, only to succumb to a powerful fourth quarter varsity surge led by Rudy Ruiz. The final score was 56 to 49 in favor of the varsity. During halftime of the men's game, the women of the faculty and staff played the girls' basket- ball team. Struggling to overcome a scoring blitz by the girls, the women's team concentrated mainly on defense. However, their efforts proved fruitless, for at the final buzzer the girls were victorious with the final score of 8 to 2. gf' 'S Q was l rx ' UAA I dx- I ,. l I I ' sux!
