This past year they've put out some outstanding newspapers which show the organization and hard work this class is made up of, The Editor in Chief is Margie Beale and their advisor is Nlr. Thimgan. There should be no accidents with guns. We are trying to teach the kids safety are the feelings expressed by lVlr. Nlay and IVlr. Cole, the advisors of the Gun Club. The club goes to the range on the average of about 2 times a month, and meets at least one time before each trip. As a safety precaution, the guns are trans- I ported by Nlr. Jensen to the range. If you don 't do it, it won't get done was the theme of the United Fund campaign for '75. And did we ever do it, reaching 4002 of our goal, with a total of S1600.00. For the fifth year in a row, Ball Junior High has success- fully defended its district championship and come home with the United Way Trophy. The trophy is given to the school who contributes the largest amount of money to this organization. The drive began slowly on a wet morning with a dawn dance, but picked up when the 7th and 8th graders formed a conspiracy and wiped out the 9th graders in the grade competition. Throughout the week coins continued to pile up and the totals were announced each day by none other than Hotdog Glenn. By Wednesday we had made 314 of our goal which was a thousand dollars and off went IVlr. lVlichallik's beard land he said we couldn't do itl. The week was almost over and we needed 5200.00 to reach our goal. We had one activity left, the big dance on Fri- day night. At the end of the evening it was announced that we had reached our goal and thus ended a very success ful week. , .T -s -f ' T s -is . W' - -1 wi , . 1 ' l .
