Ot tardy bells, and days missed, ot abbreviations: alge., hist. Of hot May, and cold November, these are the things l will always remember. , As the wind blows through the trees, I remember, how on my knees, l collected books, for journey home, where I worked upon a poem. And as l lie here on my side, I wonder how those days have died. As the wind blows, I know for sure, on the wind lies the way we were. On books, and pencils, paper clips, of staples, erasers, carbon paper slips. Of all these memories ot the past, the best of these are the ones that last. These activities were headed by a group on campus called the Leadership Class. The class consisted of cheerleaders, 7th, 8th and 9th grade class officers and representatives plus the 4 student body officers. This year's A.S.B. officers were: Gary Pechter, Treasurer, Bridgitt Stillson, Secretary, Karen Laughinghouse, Vice President and Steve Longo, President, As officers they had such responsibilities as planning, organizing and supporting school activities and programs. ws 1 lg T ll l l TKarerTLaugh'ihEhouse,'Vice-Presideritp Gary Pecliter, J Treasurer Bridgett Stillson, Secretary L N, 4 51,5 l ,X I xxx? 1fh' rf ii-3 ' 1 L U ,f Phil : F' A fiifqtfb W ,. , 41l..pf. The trophy is given to the school who contributes the largest amount of money to this organization. The drive began slowly on a wet morning with a dawn dance, but picked up when the 7th and 8th graders formed a conspiracy and wiped out the 9th graders in the grade competition. Throughout the week coins continued to pile up and the totals were announced each day by none other than Hotdog Glenn.
