I 122 fjarg Season Weefs Members of the Ball High track team are Bobby Garcia, Frank Simpton, Jimmy Houston, Joe DeLeon, Eusebio Sena, Frank Huerta, Marcus Walsh, Richard Rico, Martin Bowers, Gus Loomis, James Houston, Roger McCoy, Robert Bryant, and David Parton. Coach Frank Rutledge instructs Bobby Garcia in how to get quicker starts. In his first year at Ball, Rutledge produced a first rate cinder squad of which all students and Galvestonians could be proud. While at McAllen High, Rut- ledge produced teams of top caliber in the always rough Border country. iiiitlfi QC Frank Simpton fleftJ and Bobby Garcia come out of the blocks in preparation Hurdler Roger McCoy goes up and over in his specialty, the high and low hurdles.
