Herrera accounted for all of Ball's points with two touchdowns, a pair of extra points, and a field goal. After a scoreless first quarter, Herrera booted a 24- yard three-pointer early in the second period. The halftime score was upped to 10-0 as Herrera blasted over from the seven. After end Raymond Pritchard had snagged a Galena touchdown pass to close the gap to 10-6, Herrera went 64 yards for the final Tor tally. A big pileup ensues as a Tor ball carrier is finally halted by Park. K Jacket back is hit hard by a host of Golden Tornado defenders. G. Kobs, Ball High7s Tors toppled Pasadenais green and white Eagles, 21-7. Israel Bustos put the first score on the hoard with a fourth down plunge from the six-yard line in the second period. Sixteen seconds later, Pasa- dena's all-state halfback, Bert Coan, scampered 77 yards to knot the count. Kobs scored shortly be- fore the half to put the Tors in a 14-7 lead. Conrad Pierce iced the game in the third period on a 28-yard scamper. Erasmo Herrera converted after all three Ball scores. James Shukanes, George Pinto and Carl Otte stack up an Eagle Ball carrier.

D. G. Kobs led the way, scoring from the twelve and five-yard lines to give the Tors a quick 12-0 lead. Bobby Garcia returned the open- ing kickoff of the second half 80 yards for the third Ball score. Thornton Medley tallied Texas City's lone score on a one-yard plunge. Both teams failed to convert on any extra point try. EVARISTO NINO Two year Ietterman Tackle George Pinto, Israel Bustos and Frank Annweiler halt a Texas City ball carrier early in the game.
