Hobby- collecting coupons and meat tokens. Gordon Gibson: As Damon and Pythias so are Duncan and Gordon. He is of medium height, light brown hair, serious mind. A right good guy. John Kaufman: The boy with the loud clothes, and known as the VVeasel in 4C. He is here today and gone to-morrow: a nice fellow. usually ready to lend a helping hand. Charles Lewis: Third year at. Balfour. Main hang- out - woodwork shop. He says his future is undecided. George Young: Another from Vibank, for his first year at Balfour. May enter Varsity next year. Our future nurse has a ready smile and a laugh for all occasions. Is rather quiet at school but we wonder . . . e 544 Gertrude Schatz: Came to Balfour from Morris, Manitoba, to take her fourth year. Her favorite subjects are Algebra. Trig-Geometry. and Literature. An accomplished pianist. Her ambition is to become a nurse. Glynne Williams: Is completing a Machine Shop Course. Rugby and dancing seem to be his favorite pastimes. Glynne hopes to enter Varsityvhe'd make zi wonderful Doctor, too! Virg Berglund: Swede or Doc , wears drape pants and plays a Hot Trumpet in Tony Mildenbergefs Band. Florence Zyla: From Tyvan. came to Balfour to take her fourth year. Favorite subjects are Biology. Chem., and Math. .Quite a gal at the keyboard. Ambition is nursing or teaching. Bert Douglas: Happy-go-lucky who comes from Weyburn: second year at Tech, and may be back next year. says He . KA conhrmed late-comer, he doesnt seem to mind.J Johnny Ringbauer: Hails from Vibank. First year at Tech. Future is also undecided. Heinz Wedhorn: Of Herbert. his second year at Tech. Motor engineering is his favorite sub- ject. Reports he has no ambition, as yet. Dunc Fisher: Famous for sliding in just on time-- two seconds before the bell. A star hockey player with the Abbotts. Firm belief that Tech has the stuff to come out on top in intersports activities. John Kilby 412 Plays the violin beautifully. If his ambition is to be a concert violinist, he certainly has the foundation on which to build. Alvin Muxlow: Red is our War Savings Agent and a pretty good one at that. He seems to like the damsels small and dark, and fares pretty well with them. Dorothy Duthie: A cute little red-head, who is very clever in English and delights in Math. Chosen career is n school teacher, but she may change to stenography. Walter Herman: Known to the female section of 4C as Dillinger , is of medium height, blonde, and blue-green eyed. Bill Snuggs: Is another pianist. He will inish his course in drafting at the end of this year. He says in the future he'll be a picturefframer ibut what kind of pictures?J. Bud Stephens: Mr. Lawson's number-one man. Bud is also Gerri and Kaufman's go-between. Yes. sir, a right handy man is Bal- carres Bud . Gerald Glaze: Known in 4C as George Fairield's prodigy. Spends all his spare time in the aud. -- -- at the piano. Elinora Frick: A one-year Techite, quiet, with a charming friendly smile. At Math., she's a whiz. but would rather you didn't mention History. Caroline Thomas: Oh boy those red-heads sigh a number of boys in 4C. Caroline has a happy medium in her subjects, no favorites--no flunkies. She plans to he a steno. Sam Haymore: Tet-h's ace hockey star. Tall, dark, and shy Cof the girlsj. Alex Nadoroznick 4A' A senior Basketball player. He has quite a struggle with Biology. Paul Leveille -lf': Is an ex-Centrulite. He plans to go into the wholesale business.
