Jim Buchan: Would rather study than go to Drama t'lub, so resigned his ollice. His interest in English 475 gives no indication, as yet, that his namesake John Buchan will need to look to his laurels. Don Davis: Worst subject -- French, best - Maths, Don is quiet around school, but after that, OH BOY! jim Hewak: Another star on the Senior Basket- ball team. He spends most of his time on Modern Problems. Biology, and ? Mike N adoroznick: Curly , brings out his better points on the Senior Basketball. Who said he was shy? Eddie Pizak: A very conscientious member of the Students Council, Would do almost anything for the boys in Drafting and does. Feels there is a future and a fortune in lyinnology. Eddy Deck: Is very studious. He likes to wear plaid shirts. Looks good in them, too! Plans on entering Varsity or Normal. Mark King: Doc from seven of that name, wants to be a doctor. Spends most of his time editing the Ballorum and thats a lot of Time. Nelson Deck: Ignatius wants to he a hand leader, would make a better Bing Nelson belongs to all the Senior teams of basketball, hockey, etc. Quite an athlete, and gets good marks on the side. Frank Hodgson: Miss Lee's dream boy. tAt least she thinks he's dreamingl. He handles our dances and does a good job, Thanks Frank. Quite u nian with the ladies. Frank Bresciani: Favorite saying -- Huha! Huha! Moinina, I want one of those! He tries to act shy but watch out once he gets going, girls. He's also a good bowler and supplies an incentive for Mr. Huwrylak's bowling. Is going to join the Merchant Navy f our FUTURE AIJMIR.-XL . jim Hirsh: The handsome newcomer doesn't waste time on the ladies. His best. subject is Algebra. At that he's a fiend --with a tough subject like that enough said! Jack Pugsley: A specialist in drafting. Only attends school when he is not planning houses. Harry Flying Skates Barrett: Really cuts up the ice when he's in action, which is usually all the time. He plays for the Commandos. and is right in there at every opportunity. Don'tbecometooenthusiasticgirls. He's already spoken for hy an ex-Techite. George McCauley: He's the one with that Grainger look in his eyes. George is in the act of joining the Merchant Navy. Cameron McAra: Of the slow, shy grin, is President of our Student Council, as well as Vice- President of the C.F.B. Much more could be written about him but enough to say he's well informed in Physica and always tries to sell you something. Has a valuable stamp collection. Don Rittinger: This boy is another hockey star. Girls, you should see those big eyes roll, By the way, his plans are to attend Varsity. Gerald Hall: The smart boy from Earl Grey. He knows his stuff in history. A quiet likeable fellow, whose plans for this fall are norinnl school. Bill Becker: tsees red., Stars in Chem. and aspires to be a druggist. He's an active Sea Cadet and a really swell kid. Al Smith: Nlanaging Editor of the Beacon. He is a hard worker and a friend of all, Allan plans on being an Architect. He'll make it. Hopes to enter Manitoba University this fall. Cliff Ellard: Makes quite a hit with the girls, and adores dancing, Cliff is Gnishing four years of electricity. The power in those volts! Hector Bresciani: Early bird of 4A talways in the room by 8333. Hector has quite a time in French and Trig-Geometry but bears up well under the strain. lle seems to like the lnatinees at the Cap, and is a good sport. lie plays on Junior llaskethall. George Hoelscher: He says Mr. YVhite is a friend of his. George is an A-I student, but gets caught napping when note books are due. Gordon Hamilton: Likes a lot. of fun, especially when engaged in dancing or baseball. At present he's finishing olT a Motor Engineering Course, and about the future, well, it's hard to say. Lloyd Miller: A newcomer from Luther and Regina Collegeewe are glad to have him with us. We wonder if it's the College atmosphere that makes him read so many books! Ted Cook: A culturcd int-tnbci ol' thc .tir Cadets. Ted plays hockey. too, .lust call him C'ookic . Gordon Henderson: l.ook skywartl when it's tiordoli Henderson you want. livery inch of his six-foot franie radiates good huinor. An all-round good fellow with a genial smile. Geoff Sissons: Stay clear of hitn, girls, hz-'s going to he a IXIounty . ticoI'l s a good student, but frowns nt French. lle swims, too! Bill Boghean: llc just loves 'l'rig. lSill's blonde waves overcome thc opposite sex. A nice guy. Norman Atkinson: President of thc filec Club. Most of the vocal refrains como from his direction Frankie , lle likes skiing. Tony Trenker: Formerly of thc lt.l'.N.. gots high marks in History, and hits a high tiiark with the girls, too! Did ll swell job on the Victory l.oan l'arade. l.ove life is :i cliiclt in Qld. George Holizki : This lad from Bayard is most intelli- gent in Fr:-ncli and lliology. George belongs to 'l'ayloi's hockey. and has plans for becoming a Doctor. Judging front his work this year he is bound to succeed. Homer Fredrickson: Three years with the lt,l'.A.F. Tliouglit l.:ibrn1lor exciting! Going in for agriculture. He likcs thc tall, tlnrk, deep blue-ey ed type. Ron Rohrick: A great student of logic. .kt present he is finishing liiacliiiic shop work.
